Meet The Teacher

I'm Mrs. Pigues, a Mississippi native and Memphis based visual artist and educator. I've been drawing ever since I could hold a crayon. My art teacher inspired me to always stay in art, which led me to pursue a career as a art educator. I'm a TN state-certified art educator entering into my 18th year of teaching with MSCS. 

I love inspiring young minds to never stop creating, and helping them to reach their full potential! I have the opportunity to touch the lives of so many inspiring young artists. My mission is to pass my knowledge on to my students. I truly love each and every one of them. 

When I'm not teaching, I'm in my studio creating. My work experience is quite diverse. I enjoy being a graphic designer, illustrator, and photographer. I've always been told by my peers to go beyond the classroom and show the world my beautiful gift.
